The traditional colors of Christmas are pine green, red, white, silver, gold, and any other metallic color, however decorations are designed in many different colors for those who do not want to use those. A tree topper is often placed on top of the tree. It is usually an angel or star that is placed on top.

Wreaths are a traditional decoration used at Christmas time. Wreaths are placed on the front door to welcome friends and family into the spirit of the season in your home. A wreath can be simple with a few lights or a highly creative, decorated piece. In addition to the front of the door, a wreath can make a great decoration to place above the fireplace or in the kitchen. Wreaths are also artificial and real. A real pine wreath can add a pleasant fragrance to the home.
